Open Door Mission


ABOUT

Open Door Mission exists to serve people at their point of need, cultivating personal growth and community sustainability. We serve under-resourced individuals in the Greater Glens Falls Area. Our services include a soup kitchen, food pantry, men’s shelter, day room, and resource center.

ACCEPTING REFERRALS FOR

  • Transportation (Hours CCPT responds to referrals: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm)
  • Food Assistance
  • Men and Women’s Shelter
  • Clothing
  • Individual and Family Support:  We accept families in our soup kitchen and food pantry, and if they present for Code Blue we will work to find them shelter.
    Children under 18 are not permitted in our Resource Center (Dayroom) or shelter, and we do not carry children’s clothing.

Open Door Mission Community Meal Times:

  • Lunch  11:30 – 12:15  Monday – Saturday
  • Dinner  4:30 – 5:15  Thursday & Sunday

Monthly New User Trainings – Second Tuesday of every month from 12:00-1:30pm
Monthly Refresher Trainings – Fourth Tuesday of every month from 12:00-1:30pm
